I am a strong advocate for increasing science literacy amongst non-experts. As the subject matter experts, scientists and science communicators (of which I consider myself both!) are pivotal in this interaction.
This is a selection of some of the science communication and outreach activities I have done.
Science Comedy
Time to laugh and learn! In April 2024 I participated in the Future Science Talks Comedy Program to talk captivity & animal sensory systems. Since then I’ve performed in shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Melbourne Fringe!
